Support a Corporate Picnic at Camp

Join our event crew for a welcoming day of hospitality, outdoor activities, food service, and behind-the-scenes support at Camp Because I Said I Would.

Shift Details & Logistics

• Date: September 17, 2026
• Time: 8:00 AM–8:00 PM. Please arrive 15 minutes before your selected shift for a volunteer briefing.
• Available shifts: Shift A: 8:00 AM–1:00 PM; Shift B: 1:00–5:00 PM; Shift C: 4:00–8:00 PM; or the full shift: 8:00 AM–8:00 PM.
• Location: Camp Because I Said I Would, 3483 McCament Rd, Walhonding, OH 43843
• Attire: Comfortable, weather-appropriate “camp casual” clothing and clean, closed-toe shoes. If you have a Camp T-shirt, you are welcome to wear it.

Volunteer Requirements & Responsibilities

All volunteers must be 18 years old or older. Volunteers may help with:

• Greeting guests, supporting parking flow, and directing people to registration.
• Setting up and supporting games and outdoor recreation stations.
• Serving food and refreshments and keeping the buffet area clean and stocked.
• Completing light cleanup during and after the event.
• Tending the evening bonfire for overnight guests.
