Join us for a uniquely heartwarming volunteer experience! This Saturday, a wonderful couple is coming to the camp to make one of the biggest promises a person can make: their wedding vows. Because our camp is built on the power of keeping your word, we are thrilled to host them.

We need an energetic, reliable crew of volunteers to work behind the scenes to help us pull off this magical day. If you love events, hospitality, and community spirit, this shift is for you!

Shift Details & Logistics

• Date: This Saturday, 06/20/26

• Time: 1:00 PM – 11:00 PM (Please arrive 15 minutes early for a quick briefing)

• Flexibility (pick a time window that works best for you)    Shift A:  1pm-5pm,  Shift B: 4pm-8pm, Shift C: 7pm-11pm,  Shift D: full shift 1pm-11pm

• Location: Camp because I said I would  3483 McCament Rd,  Walhonding , OH 43843

• Attire: “Smart Camp Casual.” Since this is a wedding event, we want our crew to look sharp while staying comfortable! Please wear black or khaki pants (chinos/slacks preferred, no rips ) and a solid dark-colored polo or shirt (black or white).

  • Footwear: Comfortable, clean, closed-toe shoes (all-black sneakers or dark boots are ideal).

  • Note: If you have a Camp t-shirt, you are welcome to wear it! We will also provide so guests can easily identify you.

Volunteer Responsibilities:

As part of the Wedding Crew, your tasks will include:

• Greeting guests, managing parking flow, and directing people to the ceremony site.

• Assisting with the setup of ceremony chairs and reception decorations.

• Helping serve food/refreshments and keeping the buffet area clean and stocked.

• Assisting with light cleanup during and after the reception.

• Tending the evening bonfire for the post-wedding celebration.
