Event Description:
Join us for a day of summer fun, relaxation, and gratitude as we celebrate all that you do. Enjoy kayaking, swimming, games, and more in the beautiful 92-acre Camp because I said I would. Bring the family, grab a slice of pizza, and make unforgettable memories with fellow educators.

This is a no-cost event focused on celebrating your dedication with classic summer camp fun, fresh air, and quality time with your loved ones. Connect with other high school teachers and take a well-deserved break in a peaceful, natural setting.

Who Should Attend?

• Teachers (public, private, or charter)
• School faculty and staff members
• Teachers’ spouses, children, and immediate family members
• Educators seeking a relaxing and fun summer outing
• Teachers who enjoy nature, outdoor activities, and social connection

Event Schedule:
11:00 AM – 11:15 AM: Welcome & check-in (coffee, beverages, and light snacks available)
11:30 AM – 12:00 PM: Optional guided tour of the 92-acre property and sneak peek of Grand Hall the new Event building
12:00 PM – 1:30 PM: Free time to enjoy swimming, kayaking, disc golf, fishing, and games
1:30 PM – 2:00 PM: Lunch – Pizza and additional light snacks served
2:00 PM – 4:00 PM: Free time continues – explore all the camp activities at your leisure

Event Hosts:
This event will be led by Cassie Perez and Alice Watson, members of the team at because I said I would. Both Cassie and Alice are dedicated to honoring the educators who inspire future generations, and they can’t wait to welcome you and your family to camp!
