As Thanksgiving approaches, we want to take an evening to recognize the extraordinary individuals and organizations who have helped make our mission possible.

We invite you to join us for Because of You: A Thanksgiving Celebration, a special evening dedicated to our donors, volunteers, foundation partners, corporate supporters, and community friends.

This is more than a Thanksgiving dinner.

It’s our opportunity to welcome you to the table, celebrate what we’ve accomplished together, and personally say THANK YOU.

A Place at Our Table

Throughout the year, we ask our community to show up for others.

You answer that call in countless ways.

Some of you have volunteered your time to prepare cabins, welcome guests, serve meals, maintain our beautiful property, or support programs that strengthen lives.

Others have made financial contributions, sponsored opportunities for families, donated supplies, introduced new partners, or helped share our mission with the world.

And many of you have done these things quietly, never expecting recognition.

But we see you. We appreciate you. And we want you to know that your contributions matter.

On November 17, we’re setting aside the projects, the schedules, and the to-do lists to simply enjoy an evening together.

Camp because I said I would is a nonprofit retreat center in Walhonding, Ohio, dedicated to helping individuals build resilience, strengthen connections, and practice mental wellness.

Through retreats, educational experiences, and community programs, Camp provides opportunities for individuals and families to grow, reconnect, and find renewed strength.
