FREE EVENT: Want to hear an inspirational message and support grieving families in need?

We’re excited to announce that Alex Sheen, the founder of because I said I would, will be speaking in Lakeside, Ohio on January 12th, 2026.  Alex is a five-time TEDxTalk speaker, author, and internationally-recognized nonprofit leader. He will be giving an inspirational speech at this private event and a meet-and-greet table will take place afterward where merchandise table fundraiser for the charity: every $1,500 is the equivalent of sponsoring a grieving family for a resiliency and mental health retreat at our 92-acre camp!

LOCATION: Lakeside, Ohio  The exact address will only be given to confirmed attendees

Ways to attend this Private Event: 

 Attend the Leadership workshop as a Guest (No volunteering)
Short on time but still want to hear Alex’s inspiring message? Choose a guest ticket to attend the speech without any volunteer responsibilities. Please arrive 15 minutes early for check-in:

8:00 am- 11:00am Morning Session Leadership workshop

12:00pm-3:00pm Afternoon Session Leadership workshop

• Both options are open to individuals 18 years and older.
• Spots are VERY limited.  We apologize in advance if tickets run out.
