Role Overview
As a Camp Maintenance Volunteer, you will be instrumental in maintaining and improving our camp facilities. This hands-on role involves a variety of tasks such as painting, cutting grass, cutting wood, moving materials, trimming trees, and fixing things with hand tools. You may also be involved in tasks like repairing toilet seats, unjamming doors, removing window A/C units, and changing light bulbs. It’s all based on whatever skillset you bring to the table!
Responsibilities
- Undertake general construction and landscaping tasks
- Perform maintenance and repair work as needed
- Ensure that the camp facilities are kept in good condition
Qualifications
- Experience in construction, handyman work, basic plumbing, or landscaping
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Physical ability to perform manual labor tasks
