“Volunteers do not necessarily have the time; they just have the heart.” – Elizabeth Andrew
On October 16th, Rotary Club of Coshocton Valley is taking its regular meeting off-site and into service. Join us at the beautiful Camp because I said I would for an evening that combines inspiration and impact.
This is more than a meeting — it’s the beginning of a partnership.
📖 What to Expect
The evening will include:
-
A short presentation by camp associate Director Chris Dahlstrom, introducing the nonprofit’s mission: to build a world of people who keep their promises — especially to themselves.
-
A hands-on volunteer project, organized to fit our time and group size.
-
Projects may include, but are not limited to, things such as light property maintenance, organizing supplies, or writing encouraging letters to families attending retreats.
-
-
Fellowship and service — the very heart of what Rotary stands for.

💬 Why It Matters
Camp because I said I would is more than cabins and trails — it’s a place where grieving families begin to heal, where caregivers exhale, and where nonprofits recharge. 60% of those served are from our own four-county region.
This evening isn’t just a service opportunity — it’s the start of something deeper. Whether through volunteering, fundraising, or simply learning, Rotary can be part of a mission that resonates with our own.
