Celebrate our 12-year Anniversary at Camp!

Join us for an inspiring weekend as we celebrate the 12th anniversary of our charity! Enjoy a wide range of activities designed to inspire and rejuvenate, including leadership and resiliency workshops, archery, escape rooms, waterfront yoga, and more. With stunning accommodations, delicious meals, and exclusive events like our charity auction and groundbreaking ceremony, this is the perfect getaway for both individuals and families to connect, relax, and make a lasting impact.

Friday: VIP and Overnight Guests Only

  • 1:00 PM – 1:30 PM: Arrival & Registration
    • Guests arrive and check in, receiving a warm welcome and their accommodation details. They can settle into their rooms and enjoy light snacks provided for early arrivals. The registration table will be clearly marked with signage, and staff will be available to assist with any accommodation needs.
  • 1:30 PM – 3:00 PM: Free Time – Activity Stations
    • Guests can choose from a variety of activities, including Foot Golf, Disc Golf, Canoeing, Cornhole, and Volleyball. Each station will be staffed, ensuring guests have a great experience and any questions are answered. This time allows guests to explore the camp at their leisure and engage in fun, active pursuits.
  • 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM: Rooted In Resiliency (Vineyard Walk)
    • Join a guided walk through the vineyard, where participants pair up for meaningful discussions on resilience. The serene setting among the vines provides the perfect backdrop for connecting with others and sharing stories of personal growth. This reflective activity encourages guests to explore their own resilience in a peaceful, nature-filled environment.
  • 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM: Free Time – Tours Available
    • During this time, guests can enjoy the freedom to relax or take guided tours of the camp facilities. Staff will be on hand to offer insights and answer any questions about the camp’s features. This is an opportunity for guests to familiarize themselves with the surroundings and prepare for the upcoming events.
  • 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM: Dinner at Manor Lodge
    • A buffet-style dinner will be prepared by our private chef, offering a variety of delicious options to satisfy all tastes. The meal will be served in the dining room, banquet hall, and on the deck and porch, providing guests with a choice of settings to enjoy their dinner. This communal meal sets the stage for an evening of connection and relaxation.
  • 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM: Camp Fire & Live Acoustic Music at The Lake
    • As the sun sets, guests are invited to gather by the lake for a cozy campfire and live acoustic music. The soothing melodies, combined with the warmth of the fire, create a perfect atmosphere for unwinding after a day of activities. Guests can listen, sing along, or simply enjoy the peaceful ambiance under the stars.

Saturday: Complimentary Day Tickets Available 

  • 8:00 AM – 9:00 AM: Breakfast Buffet
    • Start the day with a hearty buffet-style breakfast prepared by our private chef. Guests can enjoy a variety of breakfast favorites, served in the dining room, banquet hall, and on the deck and porch. This meal provides the energy needed for a full day of engaging activities and experiences.
  • 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM: Promise Story Trail (Forest Walk)
    • Take a peaceful 1-mile guided walk through the woods, exploring five interactive story stations. Each station shares personal promises of resilience, offering inspiring perspectives on overcoming challenges. This activity encourages guests to reflect on their own resilience while connecting with nature and the stories of others.
  • 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Free Time – Activity Stations
    • Guests have another opportunity to participate in camp activities like Foot Golf, Disc Golf, Canoeing, Cornhole, and Volleyball. These stations are open for guests to drop in and enjoy at their leisure. The relaxed environment allows for both active participation and casual exploration.
  • 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM: Grape Picking at the Vineyard
    • This ticketed event is open to the public, allowing guests to participate in grape picking at the vineyard. The first three rows of grapes from the road are available for picking, and staff will be present to assist. This unique experience offers guests a hands-on connection with the vineyard and the camp’s agricultural aspects.
  • 12:00 PM – 12:30 PM: Ceremonial Groundbreaking
    • Celebrate the groundbreaking of a new 4,200 sq ft event venue, a future hub for community programming. Alex Sheen, founder of “Because I Said I Would,” will share the vision for this new space and its potential to inspire and unite the community. This ceremony marks a significant milestone in the charity’s journey, laying the foundation for future growth and impact.
  • 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM: Lunch
    • Guests are invited to enjoy a buffet-style lunch prepared by our private chef. The meal will be served in the Manor Lodge, providing a comfortable setting for relaxation and conversation. This midday break offers a chance to recharge before the afternoon’s activities.
  • 1:30 PM – 2:00 PM: Auction Opens
    • The auction offers guests the opportunity to bid on unique items. Guests can browse the items, place their bids, and contribute to a meaningful cause.

  • 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM: Top 10 Resiliency Skills Session
    • In this engaging session, Alex Sheen shares his top 10 favorite resiliency skills, offering insights gained from years of experience. These skills are essential strategies for overcoming setbacks and staying motivated in tough times. Guests will leave with practical tools and inspiration to strengthen their own resilience.
  • 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM: Escape Room & Archery Sessions
    • Guests can participate in two exciting sessions of the Lost Treasure escape room and Archery. The escape room challenges teams to solve puzzles and uncover mysteries in a thrilling 60-minute adventure, while archery sessions provide a chance to test their skills. Both activities offer fun, team-building experiences that guests will remember.
  • 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM: Free Time
    • This hour of free time allows guests to relax and enjoy the camp’s amenities at their own pace. Whether exploring the grounds or unwinding in their accommodations, guests can take this time to recharge. It’s an ideal moment to reflect on the day’s experiences before the evening’s events.
  • 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM: Dinner at Manor Lodge
    • Another buffet-style dinner is served, offering a variety of dishes prepared by our private chef. Guests can dine in the Manor Lodge, choosing their preferred setting to enjoy the meal. This dinner is an opportunity to come together, share stories, and prepare for the evening’s storytelling session.
  • 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM: Founder’s Fireside Stories
    • Gather around the fire as Alex Sheen shares a decade’s worth of extraordinary experiences from the charity’s journey. From early challenges to defining moments, these stories offer a glimpse into the highs and lows of building something remarkable. Guests will be inspired by tales of resilience, determination, and the unexpected surprises that have shaped the last 12 years.

Guests can enjoy their meal in the Manor Lodge, choosing from the dining room, banquet hall, or outdoor settings. This breakfast is the perfect start to the final day of the event.
  • 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM: AI and Resilience Session
    • This session explores the growing influence of artificial intelligence on resilience and mental health. Guests will learn about current trends and future possibilities, discussing both the benefits and challenges AI presents. The session aims to provide valuable insights into how technology can support personal strength and well-being in a rapidly changing world.
  • 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM: Pack Up
    • Guests are given time to pack up their belongings and prepare for departure. Staff will be available to assist with any needs, ensuring a smooth and stress-free checkout process. This time also allows for final goodbyes and reflections on the weekend’s experiences.
  • 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM: Lunch
    • Before departing, guests can enjoy a final buffet-style lunch at the Manor Lodge. This meal offers a last opportunity to relax, reflect, and connect with fellow attendees. It’s a fitting conclusion to a weekend of inspiration, rejuvenation, and meaningful connections.
