Role Overview
As an Event Support Volunteer, you will be an essential part of our team at Camp Because I Said I Would, helping to ensure the smooth execution of various events. This role includes setting up and tearing down event spaces, assisting with diverse on-site activities, and providing general support during events. Your efforts will help create a seamless and positive experience for all participants.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of event equipment and materials at the camp.
- Support event staff with various on-site tasks, such as registration, guest assistance, and activity coordination.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming event environment.
- Perform miscellaneous tasks as needed to ensure the success of events.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team.
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks such as lifting, moving, and setting up equipment.
- Flexibility and a proactive approach to handling a variety of tasks.
