Financial donations are always helpful, but we are also in need of equipment, storage, and other items. Check the list below and come back often as we will be updating as our needs change.

Our #1 Need: Used Truck w/8 ft. Bed - $15,000

Why does this matter?

Help Us Drive Change: Donate a Reliable 4x4 Truck for Camp Operations

Description:
We urgently need a 4x4 truck with an 8ft bed to support the essential operations at Camp because I said I would. With this truck, we can efficiently:

- Transport materials for building and repairs
- Pick up supplies from hardware stores (a 1-hour round trip)
- Clear downed trees and manage landscaping
- Haul equipment for events and retreats
- Assist with emergency situations around camp

Currently, we are spending too much time running things around on golf carts and UTVs, often requiring several round trips. This inefficiency wastes valuable time that could be better spent on building, repairing, and enhancing our camp. Due to the frequent trips to home improvement stores, having a truck with lower mileage is crucial to ensure reliability and longevity. Your generous donation will directly enhance our ability to serve families in bereavement, community impact professionals, and, in the future, youth facing mental health adversities.

Specifications:
- 4x4 truck with an 8ft bed
- Single cabin preferred, but a crew cab would be ideal
- Less than 150,000 miles
- Four-wheel drive
- Adequate towing capacity for hauling materials and equipment

Estimated Cost:
$15,000 depending on the condition and model of the truck

Six-Person Golf Cart

Why does this matter?

Boost Camp Efficiency: Donate a 6-Person Golf Cart for Our Operations"

Description:
We urgently need a 6-person golf cart to support the essential operations at Camp because I said I would. With this golf cart, we can efficiently:

- Transport grieving families across the 92-acre camp, allowing them to spend more time in programs and enjoying the camp environment
- Facilitate group movement for events and activities
- Quickly respond to maintenance and emergency situations
- Reduce the time spent on multiple trips for transporting people

Our goal is for every cabin to have one of these golf carts, ensuring that families, especially those who may have difficulty walking, can easily navigate our large property. Currently, we are spending too much time running things around on smaller golf carts and UTVs, often requiring several round trips. This inefficiency wastes valuable time that grieving families could spend participating in our programs and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. Your generous donation will directly enhance our ability to serve families in bereavement, community impact professionals, and, in the future, youth facing mental health adversities.

Specifications:
- 6-person capacity
- Reliable and durable design
- Suitable for varied terrain
- Electric or gas-powered

Estimated Cost:
$10,000 - $12,000 depending on the condition and model of the golf cart

Your support will enable us to maintain and improve our facilities, ensuring we can continue delivering impactful programming and support to our community. Thank you for considering this vital contribution!

Commercial Laser Printer - $1,500

Why does this matter?

A commercial laser printer is a necessity for our headquarters. We continually have to print a variety of materials for camp, speeches, and promotional flyers for supporters.

Having a commercial printer on ensures the productivity and efficiency of our team.

Volunteer Cabins - $40,000 each

Why does this matter?

  1. Supporters are clamoring to come to camp to volunteer for weeks at a time, but we have nowhere to house them.
  2. Volunteer cabins can act as overflow cabins when a group size gets too large.

We believe we could bring in 5,000 volunteer hours a year if we had 3 volunteer cabins. Some of our supporters are even skilled tradespeople like roofers and carpenters who could really help out!

Other things we need for camp:

  • 50HP Utility Tractor
  • Tractor implements
  • A six-person or four-person golf cart
  • A 10x20 ft storage shed for recreation equipment
  • Lumber (for benches, signs, buildings, etc)
  • Bins and cases for supplies
