Located 45 miles east of Columbus, Ohio, our programs focus on resiliency skills and mental health habits. We support youth, families and community impact professionals. Camp because I said I would is funded by fees generated from corporate retreats and events, as well as the generous contributions of our donors.

Retreats for Grieving Families

Grieving families stay at camp at no cost because of the generosity of our donors. From simple vacation stay to a deeper Resiliency Retreat Program, we are working to help families find hope and build strength.

Resiliency Skills Programming 

Teachers, nonprofit employees, corrections offers and other community impact professionals are exhausted. They help keep society glued together, but the job is tough. Our Resiliency Retreats help them strengthen their stress management skills.

Programs for 12-17 Year-Olds 

Before the age of 18, approximately one out of every nine girls will encounter sexual abuse or assault. Those who have been subjected to sexual abuse or assault are four times more likely to display indications of substance abuse.
