Dean's Story
Dean lost his youngest daughter, Hillary, in July 2023 at just 34 years old, after lifelong complications from Fetal Alcohol Syndrome led to a massive heart attack. Just seven months later, his wife Christine—his partner of 55 years—also passed, losing her battle with cancer. “I believe that Hillary’s passing had a dramatic impact on Chris’ resilience and determination to overcome the cancer...her heart had been broken.” Now, Dean is leaning on his children, grandchildren, and faith community but still longs for peace, healing, and direction. Your donation will give him the support and space to begin easing the weight of guilt and loss.
